CURRENT POLICY FOR 7-8th GRADE PIZZA PARY STATUS

To achieve Pizza Party status you must acquire 1500 points through various extra curricular activities.  These activities range from concerts, pep band events, to lessons.  Here is the current list of activities and points achieved.  In order to get the full points you must play for the entire event.  An unexcused absence for an activity will cause you to loose the points you would have received if you would be present.  An excused absence will not have points taken away or given.  Please note that we are all involved in various activities, if there is a conflict between band and another activity we will consult with the Activities Director to determine how to handle the absence.

Please note this is a new Jr. High procedure, which means that is a working document, and may have amendments through out the year to best fit the student needs.  Students may contract points by doing “extra work” that helps the band program.  If you practice at home you must send in a written signed note, or email, or call the instructor.  We randomly verify written notes from home for authenticity.  GOOD LUCK!!!!
