Welcome to the history of the band web-page. This web-page is going to talk about the achievements of the Elmwood-Murdock Band. We are going to tell you the five all-state band players that attended Elmwood-Murdock, about the first plaque we received as a consolidated school, the members of the Wayne State Honor Band, and UNO Honor Band.

We will tell you a little bit about the contests we are in every year. In the past years grades 5-8 have gone to the Malcolm Music Contest every year. Numerous awards have been received at that contest. Every year the High School Marching Band has gone to the Apple Jack Festival in Nebraska City and the Harvest of Harmony contest in Grand Island. We will show you the placing in those two contests from the past six years. Congratulations to everyone who is on this page.
