Expectations



 

This web page is going to be about junior-high track. The head coach Justin Barnes in charge of junior-high track. The activities you can do in junior-high track are throwing; discus and shot-put. Long distance; 1600m= 1 miles, 3200m= 2 miles. Short distance; 100m-1/4 around the track, 200m-1/2 around the track, and 400m- all the way around the track. Long jump, hurdles, high jump, triple jump, and relays.  These are the activities that are being done in track.

Parent Letter
Dear Parent,
Athletes will not be allowed to practice until their physical form has been turned into the office and I have received an OK from the nurse.

Athletes will not be allowed in the school until all athletes are finished with their workout or until a coach is available to escort the athletes into the building.

We will try to finish practice between 5:15 and 5:30 every evening. It would be appreciated if these athletes could have transportation by that time. After 5:15, the students will not be allowed in the gym to sit and wait. They will be asked to sit outside of the school to wait for their transportation.



Information
I can not say exactly when we will be arriving back at the school, but students are encouraged to call and find a ride or know where and what they are doing when the busses arrive back at school. We do not want any students waiting around for transportation after the track meets.
