- In 1879, this school was damaged by a bad windstorm.
- Records show that in the winter term of 1886, 75 pupils were in attendance
- During the fall and spring terms, the teacher’s salary was $25 per month. During the winter term, since there was a larger attendance, the salary was $100 per month.
- When the school was closed, the building was sold, tore down, and the lumber was hauled to Plattsmouth.
