Boys Basketball State Playoffs
1985

In 1985, the Elmwood Boy's Basketball Team made it to the state tournament. They finished the season with a 15-4 record. They were the second representative from Elmwood to the Nebraska State High School Tournament. They placed second in Class D. All five starters: Tim Rorie, John Lannin, Brad Backemeyer, Rich Goudie, and Scott Shephard were on the Homesteader All-Conference Team. 500 fans attended the school pep rally to root for them.
