How to locate strange symbols to use in documents
You want to use a cents sign and there isn't one on the keyboard! Microsoft Word has a cents sign, but you have to dig it out.
1. Click Insert>>Symbol. You should find it on the Symbols
tab. If it isn't available in your font, check the Character Map. OR
2. Click Start>>Programs (All Programs in Windows XP)>>Accessories>>System
Tools>>Character Map. This tool has every symbol known to man, and woman,
too.
Fix problems with your Mac's hard drive.
An improper shutdown or perhaps a crash can cause problems with your hard drive. Disk First Aid can ride to the rescue. This app is normally found in your Utilities Folder.
1. Open it and select your drive in the upper right of the window.
2. Click Repair. If the repair fails, keep trying.

http://symantec.com/securitycheck - Symantec's fee online virus-scanning service. Will check you computers hard drive and let you know of anymalicious viruses on your computer.
http://finance.lycos.com - Lyco's Quote.com is one of the best services for real-time NASDAQ quotes to your desktop. It includes market statistics and links to company news and broker records.
