
Crazy Horse
I am Crazy Horse. I was born in 1841. I died at Fort Robinson
in 1877.
Education and Early Life
I trained to be a hunter and warrior by his friend. I could shoot a bow and arrow and ride bare back on my horse. At the age of 12 or 14 I had a vision trip. A vision trip is alone without food or water. I had a dream of the future.
Interesting Facts
I became a chief form my bravery in battle. I protected the women
and children. My grandfather’s name was Crazy Horse. My father’s
name was Crazy Horse. My mother’s name was Rattling Blanket woman.
As a boy I was know as light hair and curly.
Why I am famous…
Because I battled and won at Little Big Horn where general Custard was
defeated.
Hardships and Obstacles
When I was young my mother died. White people broke many promises to me. Cold weather, no food and small pox were other hardships I had during my life.

1. Crazy Horse was given his father’s name.
2. He rode into battle with motto "Today is a good day to fight.
Today is a good day to die"
3. He went to battle dressed like his vision warrior.
