Dear FBLA Members:

This year has been one in which you should be very proud. Our state and national awards prove this. Elmwood-Murdock received 1st place in the American Enterprise Project report, 2nd place in the Community Service report, and 3rd in the Partnership with Business Project report at the State Leadership Conference. In addition, our American Enterprise Project report received 3rd place at the National Leadership Conference. As a chapter, we have developed many new skills and gained valuable insight into our community and the business world. Working to achieve our goals has provided us many leadership opportunities and made the year a productive one.

Over the summer, your Executive Board planned an ambitious program of work and organized activities, which you accomplished without apprehension. Because of your diligence and hard work, you planned an excellent Partnership with Business Project by working with the Merchants’ Association and actually starting our own online business called Knight Vision. You have also coordinated an exciting American Enterprise Project, which allowed students at Elmwood-Murdock to learn about American Free Enterprise at the local level. Our primary service project to educate students and community patrons about safety issues was highly successful. I am proud of your devotion and accomplishments in FBLA, your school, and your community.

Your ability to maintain high levels of leadership, involvement, and prestige has become synonymous with our chapter of FBLA. It has been an honor to serve as the president of such an enthusiastic group of individuals. I know you will continue to grow not only in number but in dedication and excellence.

Sincerely,

Mikaela Shrader, President
