Entrepeneurship Day

Entrepeneurship Day

On October 26, 2004, ten FBLA members attended Entrepreneurship Day at Midland Lutheran College. The students were separated into 12 groups and worked with students from other schools to create a new business. Designing a logo, applying for loans, and designing commercials were three of the many aspects of business ownership that were covered. Phi Beta Lambda members judged the fictional businesses and awarded prizes. Elmwood-Murdock members played integral roles in each of the top teams.

Committees

Where are they now?

Where are they now?

For the past two years, FBLA members have taken part in a project titled, “Where are they now?” The goal of this project was to locate the contact information of all past local FBLA officers and use that information to send surveys. The surveys are used to determine what effect being an FBLA member in high school has on a students’ future. This year, the committee found the addresses and telephone numbers of all past local vice presidents and sent them surveys.
