Attendance and participation at state and nationally sponsored conferences

Members of the Elmwood-Murdock Chapter of FBLA were highly involved in preparation for attendance at conferences.
 
 
Learn and Serve

Learn and Serve

Elmwood-Murdock was required to give a presentation about their Service Project at the Spring Conference in Lincoln. Ten members attended the conference and participated in the workshops. A highlight from the conference was the announcement that the chapter was one of the winners of the outstanding chapter project award.
 
 
State Leadership Conference Seminars

SLC Seminars

Thirty FBLA members attended seminars at the State Leadership Conference. Students must participate in a total of nine competitive events and/or seminars. This requirement provides all members the opportunity to fully experience the State Leadership Conference.
 
 
Fall Leadership Conference

Fall Leadership Conference

On September 29, 2004, the FBLA officers attended the Fall Leadership Conference. While at the conference, the members attended officer workshops conducted by the state officers and two additional workshops. Aaron Davis, motivational speaker, talks about the need for setting goals and taking responsibility for the consequences of actions.

While attending the Fall Leadership Conference, Elmwood-Murdock officers presented a workshop on how to develop a theme and how to create a program of work.

Chapter and Individual Competitive Events

Elmwood-Murdock FBLA’s 15th year as a merged chapter ended with very successful State Leadership Conference. Thirty members attended. A list of students recognized at the state conference is contained in this report.
 
 
National Leadership Conference

National Leadership Conference

The members who attended the National Leadership Conference were Nicole Backemeyer, Angie Buck, Brandon Minch, Allie Nielsen, C.J. Ronhovde, Logan Ronhovde, Mikaela Shrader, Morgan Smith, and Jason Zoz. They all enjoyed the activities and festivities in Denver, Colorado.
