                                                 ¡Bienvenidos!

Juntos vamos a divertirnos.

The Elmwood-Murdock Schools offers two years of study of the Spanish language.  These classes are available to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.  The classes are conducted in the Spanish language.  The goal of Spanish I is for students to gain knowledge and understanding of the Hispanic and Latino cultures.  They will also learn to communicate in the Spanish language.  In the second year, students will continue to develop their communication skills and cultural awareness.  Students will explore grammatical comparisons with the Englsih language and develop skills to help them with studies of the language at the university level.

In the 2001-2002 school year, Elmwood-Murdock has 50 students enrolled in Spanish classes.   E-M offers two classes of Spanish I, with an enrollment of 23 students and one class of Spanish II with 27 students.

Spanish Club is a school organization open to all E-M high school students.  Currently there are 43 members involved in this organization.   The purpose of this organization is to promote cultural awareness.  To know more about Spanish Club activities, click on the links below.  The Spanish Club Web Page has been designed and maintained by one of the Spanish Club Members.
