| The Virtual Main Street was a project created by the Elmwood
Murdock Future Business Leaders of America Chapter in Elmwood, Nebraska.
This Partnership with Business Project was coordinated with the Elmwood-Murdock
Merchants’ Association and was designed to help potential entrepreneurs
envision opportunities for business while promoting effective use of existing
buildings in our communities. In 2008 a survey was distributed that polled
inhabitants of the villages about the types of businesses they would like
to see in their community. Committee members determined the 12 most sought
after businesses and strategized ways to publicize the information and revitalize
our communities. This website reports the findings of the community survey
and provides some basic information on buildings located on the Elmwood’s
main street.
